My boyfriend and I took a trip to the Kansai region of Japan at the beginning of July, and we traveled to four cities: Kyoto, Nara, Uji, and Osaka. We had so much fun there, despite the weather! The one thing that I was looking forward to the most was dressing up in a kimono in Kyoto.

去年7月初，我和男票一起去了日本关西4处---- 京都 、 奈良 、 宇治 、 大阪 ，即便天气任性，我们还是把想玩的玩遍了去之前我个人非常期待在京都的和服体验~👘和服KimonoWe really enjoyed the experience and were able to get some excellent pictures in, so I thought it would be a good idea to write a guide for you guys!。

因为这次玩的特别尽兴，并且出了很多好片儿，回来的路上我就想，我一定要把这次出来玩的经验推荐给大家First, some of my pictures here... Im just your average-joe, clueless tourist trying to share some of my experience, so go easy on me please...。

和服一套

浴衣一套This kimono guide is pretty simple, perfect for lazy gals like me. If you follow along with this guide, the chances of taking a bad picture are pretty slim.

我写的搭配攻略都比较简练（懒），适合像我一样的懒人妹子出行前观看💕可以说跟着这篇攻略拍，你应该几乎没有啥废片Kimono Dos + Donts 和服怎么搭不费力赢很大？Hire a photographer, regardless of how many people are in your group! An hour is enough, you really dont need to spend toooo much time out in the heat for this. Your iPhone just cannot capture the colorfulness of kimonos. 。

无论你是几人出行，强烈建议约一个旅拍摄影师。跟拍1h足矣。连拍N小时又热又没有必要。和服的色彩确实是iphone不足以诠释滴。

I recommend renting two sets, one regular kimono, and one yukata. 推荐租两套衣服，一套和服+一套浴衣Kimonos are the very traditional type (difficult to put on + super hot), and yukatas are lightweight and cute (easy to put on + cooler). I rented from a place that my photographer recommended, and they had a special offer of renting a yukata for free if you rent a kimono. I couldnt find anyone with the same kimono as me anywhere on the Internet, so I was super satisfied with that. 。

和服就是最明艳、传统的（难穿+热），浴衣就是清新、可爱的（不难穿+较凉快）建议两个风格都尝试一下~我租和服的店是租一套和服送一套浴衣，超值~店是摄影师推荐给我的，大街上没找到一件和我撞衫的，很美很满意（为避免广告嫌疑，

在公众号回复【和服】会私信店名和摄影师哈。）

About your Kimono选择辣么多，和服怎么搭？Do: Red base, big and bright designs, with black and gold obi and red obijime, and red hair accessories. I got a lot of "kawaii" compliments from locals and some Chinese tourists whispering "how pretty it was".

我的推荐：红色底，亮色图案，大色块，配黑金色腰带、红色腰绳，配红色头饰一路上都有人看到都在说卡哇伊๑ŐεŐ๑也有中国游客在小声说这个好看~（虽然很多人都选红色，但事实证明红色是出片最能打的颜色啊）

Of course if you have lighter skin, then I highly recommend mint green kimono: super eye-catching, and looks great with a yellow obi! 

当然！如果你是白皮的妹子，我墙裂建议你穿薄荷绿的和服，绝对亮眼，而且配黄色腰带真特别好看！

👆类似这种👆很少有人选这个色，但超漂亮踩雷1💣和服上全是巨大花朵Dont: The whole outfit with the same pattern,your best bet is to have less florals on top and tighter florals on the bottom.。

和服上的花朵有不同的变化才精致，最好上半身花朵分布少一点，下半身可以密集一些。比如想要拍出来明艳一点一点的妹子👇

奶奶家沙发套了解一下？

这种彩色大花如果去色彩斑斓的地方（比如鸟居），我觉得真的有点太花了（看大家的喜好吧）踩雷2💣头饰用超大得大花，可怕Dont: Humongous flower as your hair accessory is just scary...choose smaller flowers, daisies for yukatas instead. 。

穿和服建议戴小流苏花，穿浴衣建议小雏菊👇

颜色记得统一，不要太太太跳色A lot of girls like big flowers, if I were your friend, I would hold you back from doing that...。

Because this is how it looks...有很多妹子钟爱大花，我只想说你要是我朋友 我一定会当场阻止你。。。大家感受一下。。。

花坛中最耀眼的游客踩雷3💣穿和服➕运动鞋/不穿袜子Dont: Kimono + sneakers/zoris with no socks. People will make fun of you. You can wear  sneakers/zoris with no socks with yukatas though.

据说会被人暗中笑话shi，就好比你穿旗袍带iwatch一样😊不过如果穿浴衣的话，反而可以穿运动鞋或者人字拖Take me as an example, I wore my white Converse with my yukata as I was walking towards Fushimi Inari. I thought it looked pretty cute. But just to be sure, I asked some locals, and they gave me the stamp of approval.。

比如我...在爬伏见稻荷的时候穿的这身浴衣👇脚上穿的就是一双白色匡威。（我个人感觉特别搭配）还特意问了当地的小姐姐，人家说浴衣的话就完全ojbk.

PS 伏见稻荷的鸟居真的不是人爬的如果有妹子能穿着木屐爬到山顶那我真的敬你是条汉子.我真诚建议所有妹子如果去这里，一定换自己的鞋踩雷4💣包包和腰带的颜色大胆跳色！！！没关系！！！Dont: Choose the same color for your obi and bag. The bigger the contrast, the better. 。

如果衣服花，那腰带颜色素净一点。如果衣服素，那腰带选的复杂一点。

You can choose a contrasting color for your obi, be bold! Here are two pictures from the Internet to give you guys an idea of how pretty bold, contrasting colors are:

其实腰带的颜色可以再跳一点，颜色大胆一点！真的没有关系。我给大家网上找两张图看看，跳色有多好看👇

Even if youre not brave enough...the whole look might be a bit dull, regardless of how hot you are.我感觉腰带是全身上下最大的亮点！

如果不够大胆，即便你颜值身材都没问题也会显得很平庸。。👇

踩雷5💣穿和服➕耳环Dont: Kimono + earrings. Apparently some people are saying no to this combo, but I really dont think it matters. We want to experience the culture, but we also want to look good, so dont spend too much time worrying. 。

穿和服的时候染发、戴耳环据说都是不适宜的，但其实我觉得这倒无所谓我们想体验一下当地的传统服饰，尽量地道、让自己最美就好，不用顾忌太多~~和服警察【非正式】总是对别人的和服指指点点，说别人这也穿不对那也穿不对的人。

About Your Yukata浴衣

The basic guideline for yukatas is it should be fresh and cute!! Do not get big colors, opt for "cleaner" patterns instead. 

浴衣的搭配原则，就是清新清新清新！！！千万不要贪图花色，素净一点反而好看。

My boyfriend didnt like my orange + green + white yukata at first, he thought it would look like bed sheets if I put it on...but in reality, this yukata was beautiful once I tried it on! People even asked for pictures with me!

我挑上面这个橙绿白配色的浴衣时，我男票和店员都不是很建议我选，说穿上一定很像床单。。。结果穿出去真的意外美丽！！路上还有人和我合影害羞脸☺️⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)

My look: white base + bright yellow obi + wooden box + daisies for hair accessory. I had to change to my white Converse because my feet were killing me, but if you can, try to stick with zoris. 

我的搭配：白色底色衣服➕亮黄色腰带➕很有质感的木头箱盒子➕小雏菊头饰因为走得脚疼我配的白色匡威帆布鞋（如果大家有脚力还是推荐人字拖哈）Dont: Big flowers for yukata or kimono. Its just over doing it.。

踩雷💣：浴衣和和服都挑大花色的，会很腻很腻一定岔开风格Dont: Hair accessories with big flowers looks old.踩雷💣：头饰用艳丽的大花，会显得很上年纪Dont: Fabric bags are just too plain!

踩雷💣：配包不建议用小清新风格的布包，太普通了！可以用小木盒，精致编织的小篮子，甚至可以用布袋小便当盒都很可爱~Dont: Socks + yukata踩雷💣：穿袜子配浴衣可怕爆炸Dont: Huge curls dont go with yukata. Pigtails look the cutest with them...but too bad Im a little over that age..。

.But if you can still pull it off, then do it!!踩雷💣：发型弄大卷发！和浴衣太不搭配其实我觉得最配浴衣的发型是双马尾!!!!可惜我长得比较成熟，双马尾会很羞耻。

但有条件的妹子请你梳起来好不好！！！不信你看👇

Yasaka Shrine - Side paths八阪神社侧路⛩Theres always a lot of people at Yasaka Shrine, and but there werent any people if you took side pathways! Still looks as good as the main path.

八坂神社侧路！！侧路！！侧路！！重要事情说三遍。神社肯定是要拍的，可为什么拍侧路？因为门口是这样的。。

Just so. many. people. everywhere....I was kind of worried that there would be a line of people waiting for me as I took pictures...kind of awkward. But if you take the side pathways, then theres barely anyone there. You still got all the scenery that you want though:

人爆炸拥挤，我特别害怕拍照的时候一堆人在旁边等着我拍完，巨尴尬。但是八坂神社侧路一个人也没有！！！但神社该有的特色全都有。就是这里：

Play with the water as long as you want, no ones waiting in line behind you! Highly recommend these small pathways~

随便拍，步步生片儿😁😁💦水随便撩，没有人在旁边等着你拍完，一个人都没有！！！Hanamikouji花见小路Its only a 3 minute walk between Hanamikouji and Yasaka Shrine, and youll pass a street where you can take some street-style photos. 

花见小路与前面的八阪神社侧路步行只需3min，中间会路过一条大马路，还可以随手拍街拍.Hanamikouji has more of a historical look to it, kind of like the hutongs of Beijing, there are a lot of narrow pathways, and a lot of locals living here. 

花见小路是古建筑风格，跟北京胡同似得，有特别多的小窄通路，所以人多就去别的“小胡同”，不必跟别人挤Make sure you dont make too much noise, a lot of locals live around here. Here are some pictures: 。

不过不要大声喧哗，都是民房不要扰民哟。大概是这个感觉的：

Pretending to be Mrs. Nakano~~假装自己的是中野家女子哈哈哈哈~This is one of my favorite spots for pictures. Dark wooden architecture goes well with kimonos!

这是我个人最喜欢的一个拍摄地，深色木头的建筑，和明艳的和服无比搭配哟💕Fushimi Inari Shrine伏见稻荷神社This place is a little far from the previous two sites. Because I booked the photographer for 1 hour, he made it through the first two sites with us. 

这里离前两个地点比较远，我是约了旅拍摄影师1h, 拍完前两个地点正好一小时I changed to my yukata at the Fushimi Inari Shrine because it sits at the base of a mountain, Inari, and I wanted to wear something light. That was definitely a wise decision! 。

去伏见稻荷我换了浴衣，因为那是一座大山，我就想穿轻便一点事实证明我是对的！！！We spent approximately 1.5 hours climbing it, and we werent even half way up the mountain! We saw girls along the climb with kimonos on, and they were sweating like crazy. Of course, I was just secretly glad that I made the right decision!。

那个山我爬了1.5小时，连一半都没爬到沿途看着穿和服上去的妹子头发都被汗浸湿了我也是暗自表扬自己机智==Do NOT climb up the mountains in kimono!! Most people go to Fushimi Inari Shrine to take pictures at the torii, but there are toriis everywhere! Its all the same, theres just a bit less people up the mountain. So just take your pictures at the base of the mountain. 。

所以！！我强烈推荐拍和服的妹子不要爬稻荷大社的山！！！去那就是去拍鸟居的，山下山上全是鸟居，全都一样！！！就山下拍拍就好啦Lightings a bit difficult at the toriis, so remember to bring a patient friend with you! LOL。

PS：拍鸟居时，光不好调整，请带一个耐心的朋友随行哈哈哈哈哈Finally, some casual outfits and my color schema...for your references...。
